Zaan Tours offers private tours, excursions and guided tours in the Zaan region, just minutes away from Amsterdam. Half-day small-group excursions to Zaanse Schans are operated daily from Amsterdam and Zaandam. Private tours are customizable and can include world-famous Zaanse Schans windmills, the city center of Zaandam but also to Volendam, Giethoorn and the cities of The Hague and Rotterdam. We also offer boat tours on the Zaan river, including an unique dinner cruise with stops at restaurants along the river passing windmills on the way.
Our tours are possible as one person VIP Private tour up to a big group tour for 100 guests. Tours can be offered for a few hours, a full day tour and even as multiple day tour including accommodation. Just contact us if you would like to learn more.
Terms & conditions Cancellations and refund For tour bookings up to 16 guests, the standard cancellation policy applies. Up to 24 hours before the start of the tour, the booking can be cancelled and a full refund will be given. If cancelled within 24 hours or in case of a no show, no refund will be possible. If the tour gets cancelled because of a so called force majeure, a full refund will be granted. For group bookings or multiday tours, a seperate cancellation policy is communicated with the customer prior to creating the booking. Privacy policy The personal information such as names, telephone numbers and email addresses are only used by and visible for the employees directly related to the booking. Personal data are not provided to third parties without the permission of our guests. Credit card information is only used for payment related uses. This information is digitally stored in a protected environment. After the tour date this information is automatically invisible.
